The price of car insurance is one of the most prominent reasons why youths cannot afford to drive. When you ask a youth who does not drive why they don’t, their most likely answer is that they cannot afford the car insurance that they would need. Car insurance has become so expensive that it cannot be paid by simply having a part time job. In The United states, Canada, and many other countries car insurance prices are much too expensive for youths, and young adults. The price of car insurance has lead many people to find alternative transportation such as public transit, and small motorized vehicles which do not require car insurance.
